Product Description The number of stitches per linear inch, the thickness of thread for aesthetics, the thickness of leather, the slippage of the lining, the radius of the corners, the dimensions to make it most useful, number of pockets, positioning of pockets to keep balance when full, where to stitch, where not to.?? A lot of thought went into these designs to make them the way they are.?? They were extensively used by myself, my wife and a friend or two and then evaluated.?? They were changed over and over again to be exactly what I wanted for myself.?? I truly believe that these are the most well thought out wallets you?ll ever know. ??

Not a poor person's wallet. September 5, 2010 T. Weick (NY) Great Wallet, So compact fits in my pocket and i forget it's there. Sturdy, tough and i feel confident when i bring it out. The Company that sells it seems quite legit and seem like decent people which makes me feel better to spend a bit extra cash on it. And there is definitely no cheap parts in this wallet they went for 100 percent quality on this piece of art.
Just a note though, I've noticed when i don't have any cash (and that's very often) my cards are much more likely to fall out. also the wallet definitely takes some breaking in When I first got it i could not squeeze any cash in without taking every single card out first; now it squeezes in and out real easy but not too easy that i'm worried my cards will fall out (unless i don't have cash. Also you need to have two cards in each credit card slot, just a little niche these types of wallets require.
Best compact wallet, built to last August 27, 2010 Joshua Driggs I have had my thin wallet for about three months now. I spent years looking for a good compact wallet wasting lots of money on so-called high quality wallets. (All of them eventually de-laminated)
First off: the craftsmanship is top-notch, the smell of the leather is intoxicating. This is a quality product I expect to have for years and years.
It does have a break-in period. At first the slots are very very tight to even get a single card in and out.
I currently have two cards in each side. My driver licence, a thick RFID card for work, and a few papers. The wallet is still thin, but the pockets have loosened up a bit and getting a card out isn't too hard to do. It also does not feel like it will ever get so loose that a card might fall out.
So far the edges of the wallet show no signs of de-laminating, and with a 100-year warrenty I don't expect it would be a problem if they did. As others have said this is a great conversation starter, lots of people who see the wallet are looking for something similar to cut down on the bunk they have to carry around.
A great alternative to a large wallet August 19, 2010 RA (Portland, ME USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Have really enjoyed using this wallet. A much less clunky alternative to a big wallet.
One comment...I disagree with the other posters who say that you should stretch out the sleeves with additional cards. Just put in the cards that you plan to use, and the sleeves will stretch to the correct size fairly quickly. I think that if you stretched them with additional cards, then reduced the number of cards, the sleeves would be too loose and cards could fall out.
good for cards, not so good for cash August 11, 2010 M. Rummel 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the nice leather and the very high quality of this wallet. It seems indestructible.
The main problem is the fact that it cannot house many bills. I travel a lot and often need to carry quite a bit of cash since ATMs are often far and credit cards not accepted. Unfortunately you will need to fold the notes to fit and you just cannot cram enough of them in. You end up digging out all your cash and stuffing it back in - very troublesome.
I will continue to use and love this wallet - but only to carry some important cards for traveling. If you plan to carry a lot of cash I would rather recommend Saddleback Leather's standard sized wallet - much more useful.
Great wallet July 31, 2010 Raven This is a mans wallet, however as a women who needs something like this for my pocket it's perfect. Sometimes a lady can't carry a handbag like at a concert or zoo ect. I don't feel comfortable carry a handbag might lose it or might get stolen. With this wonderful wallet in my pocket I feel safe going places. The wallet is VERY well made. It actually holds alot. You do need to stretch it first put many cards in it at first then carry what you need after it's stretched out. Another thing put a card behind your licenses and with your thumb it slides in and out easily. Thank you Saddleback! I will order many more cause I want one of almost everything!
